In 2016, José Luis Martinat in collaboration with Meier Ramirez makes the first sound project of the publishing house: a 12” vinyl containing a selection of fifty loops of electoral slogans drawn from Peruvian
political history.
These slogans seek to convey deep feelings of hope, strategically repeating words like "change" and "transformation". Words that evoke a forward movement, a march towards progress, the idea of a country with
a future.
These mottos were specifically created to be read and heard repeatedly. Time would show that these broadcasted promises were nothing but false political mantras.
